We invite proposals for half-day and full-day tutorials to be held at the 20th ACM International Conference on Web Search and Data Mining (WSDM 2027). The conference will take place in Hong Kong, China, from February 15 to February 19, 2027. The tutorial day is tentatively scheduled for February 15, 2027.

The WSDM 2027 Tutorial Program is intended to disseminate information on recently emerging topics and trends, provide surveys of techniques that complement those commonly studied at WSDM, and inform industrial practitioners about the state of the art. We encourage proposals on topics in the broad areas of web search, data mining, information retrieval, social search, and other subjects relevant to the WSDM community.

WSDM historically attracts participants from both academia and industry. Proposals should take this diverse audience into consideration. Tutorials should be presented by experts in the subject matter and should offer attendees a clear, well-structured, and engaging learning experience.

Tutorials may be proposed as half-day or full-day events. According to the tentative program, the tutorial sessions are scheduled as follows:

• Morning: 8:30-10:00 and 10:30-12:00
• Afternoon: 13:30-15:00 and 15:30-16:30

The final schedule and room allocation will be determined after the proposals have been selected. Organizers may be asked to make minor adjustments to their proposed schedules to fit the final conference program.

Each submission must contain a cover sheet and an extended abstract.

The cover sheet must be no longer than one page and should include:

• The tutorial title and requested length (half-day or full-day).
• A short abstract of no more than 300 words.
• The intended audience level (introductory, intermediate, or advanced) and any prerequisite knowledge or skills.
• Information about previous offerings of this tutorial and closely related tutorials, if any.
• Full contact information for all presenters, with the primary contact person clearly identified.

The extended abstract must be no longer than three pages and should include:

• The motivation for the tutorial and its target audience.
• A clear outline of the topics to be covered.
• The tutorial's relevance to the WSDM community, with references to related resources and tutorials at relevant conferences.
• The proposed format and a detailed schedule.
• The support materials that will be provided to attendees.
• For tutorials offered previously, a description of the relationship to earlier versions, including substantive differences, additions, changes, audience feedback, and how that feedback has been addressed.

Tutorial proposals must be submitted in English as PDF files using the generic ACM sigconf proceedings template available from the ACM Proceedings Template page.

Placeholder titles or abstracts that do not provide meaningful information, including entries such as 'TBD' may be desk-rejected.
